State Policy Successes

Voter Engagement

Colorado Nonprofit Association partners with NonprofitVOTE and Participation Project, a program of Community Resource Center, in nonpartisan initiatives to expand the role of Colorado’s nonprofits in engaging, educating and mobilizing their staff, volunteers, but most importantly, those they serve, to participate in voting. Learn more about Voter Engagement.

Fiscal Education Network

The Fiscal Education Network provided Colorado nonprofits with information about the state’s long-term fiscal challenges and tools to encourage community and value-based discussion of these issues. This effort was coordinated with the Colorado Reform Roundtable, a coalition of businesses, nonprofits and labor unions interested in fiscal reform. Learn more about the Fiscal Education Network.

Recovery Act Resources

In 2009 Colorado Nonprofit Association received a two-year federal grant to work in eight communities providing capacity-building resources. Our end goal was to strengthen cooperative ties between nonprofits and government agencies/elected officials. Find webinars, toolkits and other resources provided through this grant: Recovery Act Resources.
